Shipping Policies

Orders received will ship within 1-2 business days from the date of the order. The majority of our orders are delivered within 2-7 business days depending on your delivery address.

For orders of 10 cases or more, or orders to remote locations, please contact shipping@mealkitsupply.com for a delivery estimate as additional shipping time may be required.

Return Merchandise Policies

All returned merchandise must be accompanied by a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Please call us to request a RMA number. RMA numbers must be obtained within 30 days from the date of delivery.

Defective Merchandise

  • May be returned anytime for credit or exchange after obtaining a RMA number.
  • If you received incorrect or damaged merchandise, we will provide you with a label for return shipping.

Returns Procedure:

  • Call us at and request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. We will need the following information:
  • Reason for return. If defective, describe specifi cally what is wrong.
  • Merchandise should be packaged in such a way as to protect the product and its packaging.
  • Clearly mark the RMA number on the outside of the shipping box.

FAQs

No, the meals are fully hydrated and unlike dehydrated foods no water has to be added to prepare the food for eating. Meal Kit Supply’s entrees and side dishes are “ready to eat".

Each Meal Kit Supply case contains up to five vegetarian meals. Currently, the Vegetarian Ratatouille, Vegetable Lasagna and Apple Maple Rolled Oats are three selections that fit this category. Complete nutritional and ingredient sheets are available for further assessment of special dietary requirements such as allergies. For non Meal Kit Supply MREs, please refer to the menu attached to each product page.

The meals are preservative free. By fully cooking the meals and sealing them in three layer retort pouches that are thermally stabilized, the nutritional goodness, full flavour and natural juices are maintained. This results in the prolonged duration shelf life without requiring refrigeration.

Our regular shipping takes between 3-5 business days unless we are in pre-order. However, in times of scarcity this can be subject to change. Please contact us if you have questions. 

No, the MREs are not Halal or Kosher certified.

Meal Kit Supply recommends the consumption of 1-2 MREs per person per day (between ~1,200 and ~2500 calories per day). This means a Meal Kit Supply case of 12 MREs would provide a full 6 days supply of food for 1 person. Alternatively, 1 case would feed 4 people well for 2 days. A basic emergency preparedness kit should contain 1 case of MREs and 1 case of bottled water to ensure 1 week of nourishment for 1 individual.

Five years, assuming they are stored at a temperature of 70°F or cooler (but never frozen, as freezing can damage the retort packaging). If stored at a higher temperature this will be shortened.

The case configurations are preset. This is necessary to allow us to meet product import guidelines and packaging requirements while bringing the product to market at a reasonable price. We do update the case configuration from time to time with an eye to improving the offering based on customer feedback and ensuring variety to those using the product operationally and in the field.
